What do you get when an engineer falls in love with a teacher? A pediatric dentist!
Dr. Collin Burns has always had a passion for science and working with kids. His mom, a kindergarten teacher, and dad, a chemical engineer, instilled this in him from a young age.
Dr. Collin grew up in Katy, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station for his undergraduate degree. After graduation, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed his 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry where he worked at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
Dr. Collin is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society. He joined the practice in the summer of 2015 and has been singing his original dental songs to his patients ever since.
When he is not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife, Audrey, his son Benton, and his corgi. He enjoys building furniture, grilling, hunting, fishing, baking and reading.
